Statistical Process Control - This SPC Interace Option allows the Sheffield Visual Gage to be linked to data loggers, SPC Systems, PC's and other similar equipment which accepts RS-232 signals. Available as a Retrofit for existing gages, the SPC Interface can also be ordered as an option on new Standard and Toolroom Visual Gage Models.

Fully Integrated - The SPC Interface Components are mounted within the sturdy Visual Gage base, giving maximum protection from vibration and environment. The SPC mechanism includes an LED Indicator to announce when data is output and a pushbutton which functions as a press-to-send switch. This pushbutton is also used to set an electronic zero position.

Easy Hookup - The RS-232 compatible output signal is provided on a standard 9 pin "D-sub" data connector located at the rear of the housing. Two data output modes are provided: Continuous and "Press-to-Send". The speed at which the data is sent over the serial RS-232 cable can be changed to accommodate the needs of the data acquisition system. Two baud rates are supported: 1200 and 4800.

10 Millionths Data Scaling - The Visual Gage SPC Interface allows Standard Models 540, 541 and 542 and Toolroom Models 543, 544 and 545 to be read out to 10 millionths.
