Applications - Visual gage comparators are used to check external dimensions - width, thickness, height, depth, diameter, taper, out of round, angularity of surfaces and runout. Critical elements of screw threads may also be checked. The wide range of amplifications provides a means for checking master and production gages, for toolroom work, for receiving inspection functions, for process control and final inspection and for laboratory and research work.
