The Blanchette Amplifier - The information from the Electrojet Cartridge is received by the amplifier where it is amplified and converted to a signal which can be used for indication and control purposes. The solid-state Blanchette Amplifier is compact and rugged. It is available in several models, each with four ranges of amplification with inch/metric displays.

The four ranges of amplification in each instrument allow the operator to approach the measurements at low amplification, and then switch to a high amplification, for an exact, precise measurement. A plug-in socket is standard on all instruments which provides an analog signal for use with recorders and dataloggers.
